Two papers are in preparation; no preprints exist yet. Every figure pins its engine version, dataset snapshot, and solver seed, and companion notebooks regenerate all results through the public MCP tools.

Certified Illuminant Robustness and Inverse Design of Spectral Palettes

A palette that separates well under one light and one observer can collapse under another. This work designs reflectance spectra, not color-space points, whose pairwise separation holds jointly across illuminants and observers, including simulated color vision deficiency. Because XYZ is linear in the illuminant, the reachable responses over a convex illuminant family form an exact convex hull, which gives guaranteed rather than sampled discriminability bounds; only the final Oklab step needs a Lipschitz correction, estimated over the reachable set rather than its bounding box. The same machinery runs in reverse as a stress test: a solver that finds physically realizable illuminants that collapse a given palette.

Topological Auditing of Colormaps Across Observers

A colormap is a function applied to data, and it can invent structure the field does not contain or destroy structure it does. This work audits that directly: persistent homology computed on the field before and after the colormap, per observer including protan, deutan, and tritan simulation, yielding a certificate of invented and destroyed features instead of a visual impression. The method scales to corpus level, ranking published colormaps by topological faithfulness. Audits operate on the colormaps themselves; recovering colormaps from figure images is out of scope.

Everything a paper claims will be reproducible from a pinned engine version and a pinned dataset snapshot. When a preprint exists, it will be linked here and the artifact bundle will be downloadable next to it. Until then, the honest status is the one printed above.
